This is a hazy pale Ale fermented with Voss Kveik (pronounced kvike or quake) yeast we sourced from Escarpment Labs. This Norwegian farmhouse ale strain which was handed down generations of a family farmhouse brewery of Sigmun Gjerne’ Voss. This yeast, without the addition of hops, is already extremely citrusy, producing a great juicy Pale Ale. The beer is dry-hopped with Mosaic and Vic Secret hops which give a huge bounty of tropical aromas and flavours.
A very hazy straw colour with a fluffy dense white head. The aroma bursts of papaya and pineapple, with underlying notes of honeydew melon and sticky ripe mangos. The flavour is tropical punch: papaya, pineapple, and tangerines. The finish is extremely soft with a bitterness that keeps the beer balanced and semi-sweet. It drinks like juice.
