TASTING NOTES:
A rich chestnut with burnt copper hue. Big spicy cloves on the aroma with caramelized sugar, plums, and figs. The flavour is full of dark fruit, caramel, and a clean candi finish.

HISTORY:
Dubbel was used to categorize the style brewed in the tradition of the Trappist breweries. Trappist beer is brewed by Trappist monks and currently there are fourteen monasteries, six in Belgium, two in the Netherlands, and one in Austria, Italy, England, France, Spain, and the United States that produce beer recognized by the International Trappist Association

Yeast: WLP 815 Belgian Lager
This is a smooth, pale gold lager. Toasty, bready aroma with a subtle creaminess in texture. Flavours boast dried fruit and nuttiness of the melanoidin. Finish is dry and crisp with a subtle currant note from the Diamant hops.
